Based at Gepps Cross in Adelaide, and reporting to the Manager, Technical Support we have a fantastic opportunity for a customer service, solutions focused Technical Support Engineer (Building Automation) to join our Customer Experience team.

You will provide technical support to all Schneider Electric customers (internal and external), through the provision of information to support effective problem resolution and the achievement of high levels of customer satisfaction.

Whilst not wanting to narrow the field, we do believe that the following will be keys to your success:

· Significant experience in the commissioning and maintenance of building automation systems
· The ability to troubleshoot and fault find control systems
· Knowledge of building automation technologies (Modbus, BACNet, LonWorks)
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information simply
· Proven ability to provide high levels of customer service
· Knowledge of computer and networking technology
· A good understanding of general building services, controls and mechanical equipment
· A Diploma/Degree qualification in electrical/electronic engineering process automation or an electrical trade qualification with relevant experience
Whilst not essential, an understanding of building security systems, intrusion detection and access control will be highly regarded.

As a motivated self-starter, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and easily adapt to the changing demands of the work environment; time management and the ability to prioritise are strengths.

You have excellent communication skills and a strong team focus; you thrive on responsibility and challenge and enjoy working with customers to meet their needs and deliver outstanding results.
