Main Responsibilities
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the software direct and indirect sales for the Software Business Unit.
This is a full-time position.
· Achieve annual software sales quota for the country.
· Sales Coverage – Build well targeted business organization and strategies to allocate resources and driving sales activities and prioritize.
· Develop and implement sales and account plans for developing and growing the business.
· Align tactical plans with overall corporate strategy.
· Assesses and manages employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence; counsels and supports individuals through challenges, manages performance and results across the team.
· Model effective selling skills, motivates and support sales teams in selling; demonstrates a high level of support in the pursuit and closing of deals.
· People development and change management. Sponsors and direct skills building activities to increase productivity and accomplishments, as well as work through a changing environment and effectively lead the sales team through transitions beyond their control.
· Develop long term customer relationships by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new improvement opportunities.
· Manage full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting and qualifying to closure.
· Evaluate and define the best value proposition, researching and analyzing solution selling options.
· Contribute to enduring executive relationship at the client´s organizations, strategize and coach team on solution selling techniques.
· Guarantee quality in proposals/tenders, and successful negotiations within pricing guidelines;
· Prepare timely and accurate sales activity reporting and forecasting.
· Manage sales pipeline of new opportunities and work with marketing to improve demand generation.
· Maintain in-depth knowledge of Schneider Electric products, solutions and technologies, industry trends, market conditions, competitors and how to compete in the marketplace;
· Manage overall sales process and expectations balance short-term goals with long-term initiatives;
· Follow Schneider Electric Corporate Principles while maintaining a good relationship with colleagues, clients and partners;
· Attend trade shows or conferences as needed;
· Travel as necessary;
· Other duties as assigned.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
• Engineer or Information technology Bachelor degree
• MBA desirable.
• Experience in sales, with proven records on achieving results/targets.
• Related management experience in the country.
• Successful experience selling industrial and/or software solutions in direct and indirect sales go to market approach.
• Experience in strategic planning, translating business goals into actionable plans and actively manage the organization to achieve goals and targets.
• Successful records on leading and developing strategic accounts.
• Forecast and management control – Tracks and manages rolling forecast and budgets to ensure timely and accurate roll ups.
• Pipeline Management – Experience on building, reviewing and monitoring sales pipelines to ensure short term and long term goals.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of industrial software and technology solutions;
• Proficiency in written / spoken English.
• Ability to travel.
