Our Field Service business covers the entire life cycle of electrical equipment, software and systems across electrical distribution, industrial automation, critical power & cooling and building management. We can improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & safety/security risks and costs while simplifying infrastructure management and budgeting making long-term planning easier. Another key function of our Field Service business is the extension of life of assets and tailored modernization solutions optimizing budgets.

We have an exciting and immediate opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor based at Eagle Farm and reporting to the Operations Manager. This role will provide effective support to the Operations Manager whilst leading a team of technical staff in support of clients' systems, identification of opportunities to increase the business growth while building upon Schneider's reputation for excellent customer service.

Specific Activities of the role will include but net be limited to:

· Providing leadership, mentoring, coaching and performance and performance management of your team as required.
· Frequent client liaison, account management and business development as well as maintaining monthly financial & status reviews for maintenance and reactive work undertaken
· Coordination of resources to support new project works as well as existing and system support
· Ensuring that all requirements specified in OHS procedures are understood and complied with though conducting regular risk assessments with field staff

Success in this role will require the following attributes

· Electrical engineering degree or trade qualification with solid electrical contracting and/or servicing experience with a management qualification being highly advantageous
· Demonstrable experience in the electrical and/or mechanical industry in a services environment
· A track record of people, resource management is essential with informal sales/business development experience would be advantageous as would with some P&L exposure
