What do you get to do in this position?

a) Performs Kanban system requirements:

Process incoming material per KB standards

Place standard KNBN orders as required

Make location changes (KBCR, KLOC)

Review Big hits

Perform cycle counts as required

Control excess per KB standards

Report stock outs for evaluation

Create and make adjustments to Kanban cards

Makes Kanban labels for part identification

Performs any computer functions and associated paperwork

Needed to support Kanban system

Maintains accurate stock levels, inventories and locations

b) Performs Kitter/Water Spider requirements

Create and make adjustments to water spider cards/locations as required

Make water spider labels for part identification

Review customer order revisions to ensure correct parts are available for kits

Performs any computer function and associated paperwork required to support

Kitting/Water Spider

c) Moves loads of materials throughout the plant.

d) Reference blueprints to correctly identify parts of assemblies.

e) Maintains quality and productivity standards.

f) Changes truck batteries.

g) Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to plant regulations and safety rules.

h) Operates tow motor, stand up stackers, power equipment and utilizes all tools and equipment necessary to perform the job.
