Internship – Database analyst – M/F
Employer: Schneider Electric – Local: Grenoble (38)

Mission:
Under responsibility of the Marketing Manager, in charge of Strategic Intelligence for one of the Company's Low Voltage Divisions, your mission will be to handle with data and information, coming from Business Intelligence Systems (BIS), and transform/translate them into visual and easy to read/to understand reports, tables and dashboards. Data you will deal with is related to competition, products, market share evolution, growth, trends, etc.
- listen and define the needs of the different Marketing functions and propose dashboards, reports and tables to reflect easily the evolution of market information (most of the time you will use Excel, with advanced functions, but also other BIS such as Tableau or Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, OBIEE, etc)
- conceive, build, share and test consistency of data, using the tools
- if needed, you must train the public on the dashboards and reports you have created
Applicant profile:
Background in Information Technology (Informatique) with previous experience dealing with Database and Excel's advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, etc). Previous experience dealing with OBIEE and Tableau software should be a must.
Command of Spoken English will be appreciated, once you'll deal with foreigners during the internship and you'll need to provide reports & dashboards using the English language.
You must be easy to establish relationships with your internal customers and people from other departments (IT, Global Marketing, etc).
You must be patient, flexible, versatile and you need to be analytical and able to synthetize the results of your work.
Student Background: Bac +3 or Bac +4
Period: 4 months (March, April, Mai, July, 2017)
Remuneration: according to Schneider Electric policy and Student Background (Bac+3 or Bac+4)
