· Working in Drives Activity (Industry BU/IC&D) that is selling 1,7 Millions product a year for a global sales amount of 800M€
· Drives Domain is mixing a lot of different technologies and associated challenges totally in line with the Schneider Electric Strategy like:
Power Conversion and Motor Control enabling Energy Efficiency
Application Control or Functional Safety enabling Solutions for the customers
Ethernet, Web Servers and DTM enabling Digitization and Services
· Mission is based in Pacy-Sur-Eure (Normandie/France) at 1 hour from Paris in the main site of Drives Product Activity
· Pacy R&D is closely connected to:
· The Drives Products site in Japan (Nagoya)
· The 2 sites of Drives System Activities in Austria(Vienna) and China (Beijing)
· The Drives Medium Activity in IOC-C based in China (Shanghai)
· The Architecture, Technology and Innovation department of IC&D
· In his mission, Verification and Validation Application and Software Test Engineer is closely connected to:
· The Industry Offer Creation India team based in Bangalore working on PC Software tool
· The Ethernet brick development team based in the US (Boston)
· Verification and Validation Application and Software Test Engineer is reporting to the Pacy V&V Manager into R&D department

Key Missions

· Develop test scripts and libraries for automatic testing
· Develop test means and procedures on embedded software functions
· Contribute to the design by providing expertise in its area to support the achievement of performance
· Develop a test plan for Verification and Validation of new products and systems
· Organize and conduct the test campaign
· Ensure customer quality and tests robustness while keeping the schedule and budget
· Participate to maintenance and evolution of existing offers in connection with Product Range Leader
· Improve productivity by changing the testing methodologies
· Respect and incorporate the standards and quality requirements
· Capitalize the technical know-how and be proactive in Team knowledge transfer
