Finance Intern

Job description

Schneider Electric is looking for a Finance Intern in our Foxboro, MA location. The student filling this position will assist the plant controller to execute a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project in Neponset plant. This position will be responsible for but not limited to the following activities:

· Assist with the process mapping
· Identify key inputs, process and output metrics
· Collect and analyze customer data
· Identify potential root causes
· Reduce list of potential root causes
· Identify opportunities for improvements, while maintain focus on external customer
· Attend to recurrent meeting with the project team
· Others ad-hoc project investigations

Desired profile

This job might be for you if:

·  Currently completing an undergraduate degree in accounting or Finance
·  Local Candidate HIGHLY preferred
·  Ability to analyze and recognize problems to explain the root cause
·  Details- oriented, with proven ability to meet deadlines and work
·  Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel Suite)
·  Fast Learner, strong work ethics and highly motivated
·  Initiative taker and ability to work under pressure
·  Good communication skills
