Field Service Engineer (Cebu Site)

Job description

The Onsite Field Service Engineer's primary role is to monitor/operate routine and emergency service on a variety of state of the art critical systems, including but not limited to; UPS systems, power distribution equipment, computer room air handlers and fire detection/suppression.

Job Overview:

· Expect to deliver field services according to the customer maintenance contract documented expectations and Schneider Electric obligations.
· Find the root cause of product problem within the shortest possible time and recommend a solution to resolve it; Collate and analyze field failure results and symptoms statistically.
· Formulate macro-level analysis for corrective actions in the manufacturing and design of the product line; Liase or communicate with the end-user to explain the fault analysis and recommend in detail.
· Interact with 3rd Party Service providers on-site, which involves field exchange units and or modules.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications.

·  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related course with experience in facility operations and maintenance experience; Technical knowledge of electrical distribution and emergency/standby power systems, HVAC systems, fire detection/suppression or monitoring/control systems.
·  Ability to troubleshoot electrical distribution and emergency/standby power systems, HVAC systems, fire detection/suppression or monitoring/control systems using schematic or block diagrams, technical hand books.
·  Define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions in electro/mechanical systems; Can participate well in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
·  Has ability to interpret business, technical procedures and governmental regulations; Good verbal and written communications skills.
·  Can perform effectively in a fast paced and high pressured environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook.
·  Willing to work in Cebu office site .
