Context presentation

Schneider Electric, due to an important growth pace by external acquisitions over the last 15 years, has inherited a very complex IT landscape with several ERP systems where all the operational activities are managed. In 2010, out of the 120 ERPs systems that were listed in Schneider, it was decided to capitalize on 13 ERPs that are now called the Federation .

… but with a clear strategy to be ‘One Company' in front of our customers and partners, …

it quickly became obvious that data is an asset and that we need to strongly govern it.

As a consequence, in 2016, Schneider has launched a strategic worldwide Intel Master Data program in order to better govern & control its master data.

In order to achieve this objective, the SAP MDG solution (master data governance) has been selected in order to enable us to centrally author, govern, validate & propagate data across our Federation.

MDG is now the worldwide referential for our outside group vendors & inside group partners accounts with more than 2200 users, spread in all across Schneider Electric countries.

Data is an asset and Intel Master Data's 2017 objective is to

- connect MDG to Federated ERPs

- design new core solutions for other master data: products, customers, employees…

- Identify & measure KPI of data quality

Profil recherché

Being part of the Data & Analytics department of Schneider Electric, as data process engineer intern, your mission will be to assist the data manager of the MDG program to

- - Participate to the elaboration of the data architecture the Intel Master Data requirements

- - Design, develop & test enterprise data modeling & integration mechanics

- - Design, develop & test data matching, cleansing & conversion engines

- - Design, develop & test data Continuous monitoring & reporting tools

- - Participate to the roll-out of the MDG solution to the ERP Federation

You will work in close collaboration with all data & analytics team including Intel BI, Intel data store (Schneider's data lake…) in order to contribute to the data excellency strategy of Schneider Electric.

Competences in SAP HANA database, C#, Batch, SQL, C++, C, Python, MYSQL, ACCESS, WIN DESIGN… will be key success factors for your mission.

Fluent English is mandatory. German and/or Spanish would be a plus.
