AGM- Finance (Plant Controller)

Job description

1. Partnering with Cross Functional Leadership & provide adequate support in meeting the various targets create a compliance friendly & disciplined environment.

2. Act as a Business Partner and Support in strategizing for growth

3. Create value every day through insightful analysis of the operational and financial
performance of the unit.

4. Participate actively in both long term (strategic) and short term (tactical) business
planning to achieve business objectives

5. Continuously review operational performance, providing high quality financial
information, identify potential risks and opportunities for the business

6. Control expenditures of the unit against agreed budgets

7. Analyze and challenge the business operation and identify improvement
opportunities

8. Streamline existing systems and processes and introduce best practices in accounting, financial controls and reporting

9. Ensure books closure as per defined timelines and support the plant teams in the same. Enable the smooth and accurate reporting in HFM as per calendar.

10. Enable compliance at your perimeter to existing and new guidelines in terms of Controls, accounting policies, forecasting, reporting or analysis.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant
At least 8 - 10 years of experience as a successful Business Controller in a
growing company/ organization (3+ years in a manager role)

Process Improvement and Digitization experience will be given Preference
