Parts Planner - Diesel Engine (m/w)

Liebherr-Components Colmar SAS specializes in the development, design, assembly, and testing of powerful diesel engines for mining and energy production applications.

Missions :

· Analyze Replenishment Data
· Generate reports in ERP system, review and analyze data and respond accordingly
· Collaborate with warehouse, shipping/receivinf staff to process material returns/repairs, which may include packing, preparing material for shipment and communication with supplier
· Inform the appropriate individuals (buyers, site leads, managers) of any issues related to material shortages that may cause an out of stock situation
· Analyze inventory accuracies and reconcile accordingly (stock management)
· Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP system
· Manage material quality issues, providing strategic analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives
· Request re-order of parts to maitain determined inventory levels
· Coordinate department activities to insure timely reporting and disposition of defective parts and recall activities
· Communicate with customers both verbally and in writing

Profile :

· Degree / Higher Diploma in Business Adlinistration/Statistics or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years working knoledge of distribution environment involved in a spare part planning/procurement capacity
· Prior work experience with the engine or automotive parts is preferred
· Previous experience with Demand Planning and Supply Software (ERP)
· Must have ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Good computer MS Office knowledge
· Knowledge in speech and writing of English
