Simulation Engineer – Thermodynamics (m/w)

Responsibilities

·  Within the Test Department :
·  Perform thermodynamics calculations with GT-POWER software
·  Turbocharger definition
·  Closed cooperation with suppliers
·  Optimization of engine performance under specific condition (ambient conditions, emission standards…)
·  Development of air path, combustion and after-treatment systems
·  Follow-up the engine tests on test bench
·  Analysis and comparison of simulation results with engine data
·  Engine model calibration
·  Close collaboration with the other departments (design, electronics, product management…)

Competencies

·  Mechanical Engineer or equivalent level with internal combustion engine specialization
·  Strong knowledge in thermodynamics
·  Work experience in engine simulation, preferably with GT-POWER
·  Work experience in engine R&D
·  Languages: fluent in English, knowledge of German preferable
