MISSION

Within our R&D Departments, you will handle for 24 months, 3 different positions:

1 st Mission: From September 2018 – 12 months – Research & Innovation Project Leader in France (Lyon).

For the first part of the Program, you will assist a project manager for HPC (Home & Personal Care) projects lead, both for the technical or research contents, as well as for the interaction with worldwide teams especially in Asia. In this context, your main mission will be:

- Handle engineering mission: from concept or new technologies investigations, to product definition ready for transfer to development/industrialization teams.

- Be part of a project team including R&D technicians, CAD designers, lab technicians, technologies experts, marketing, Design, etc.

- Play a key role as interface between Research teams located in France and Asia to make sure that common objectives can be achived.

- Contribute to foster a common intellectual property strategy, by recommending relevant patents in close relation with your dedicated projects.

2 nd Mission: 6 months – Development Project Leader (Europe, North and South America, Asia...)

- As part of the Development team, you will oversee product development projects, considering commitments in terms of timing, cost and quality, in accordance with the objectives set and detailed in the product specifications.

- You will also identify the risks involved in the project and propose a plan of action allowing these risks to be removed.

3 rd mission: 6 months – Industrialization or Purchasing on sourced products (Europe, North and South America, Asia...)

- The final 6-month assignment is a real opportunity for you to consolidate your skills. Your last assignment will be dedicated to Industrialization projects or Purchasing missions on sourced finished products and components, to acquire a cross-company vision.

- Actually, in order to get competitive products, Groupe SEB needs permanently to prospect deeper providers in China, but also in South-East Asia

Qualifications :

PROFILE

Are you an internationally mobile graduate in Engineering (Generalist or Industrial/Mechanical Engineer), within the past year, looking for a 2 year fast-track program? Have you had an initial experience outside your home country and do you want to take on new challenges? Do you speak at least two (preferably three) languages fluently, one of which must be English? Are you fully mobile? Do you think that innovation, team spirit and agility are keys to success? Do you want to have a unique experience, while gaining cross-company experience of a profession?
