Description of the job
A vacancy for a New MMR TACT (Test Activity Control Team) Leader (m/f) has arisen within Airbus test center in Toulouse. You will join the "Navigation/Surveillance & FMS" department.
You will be in charge of performing the Lab integration testing & flight test analysis of New MMR development for MPP (SA and LR) programs. You will also lead the Navigation Test Means Strategy stream, within Navigation pole
You will be interfaced with design office, development Flight Test department, programs, S/C, other test teams, and the suppliers of MMR.
You are interested to improve your knowledge on Aircraft (A/C) systems, through tests. You like and want to invest yourself into navigation operationnal functions but have also project and coordination skills.
This position is around 50% project management and 50% test engineer.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Defining, adapting the Testing Strategy for systems under test, including Test Means adaptation and upgrades, tests to be performed at supplier facilities, Lab tests, then flight tests,
· Leading the multi functional team (DO, EVT, S/C, supplier, MAP, …) responsible to define execute and report on all system V&V topics,
· Defining, preparing and executing Lab & flight testing activities,
· You will also be responsible to define and set-up of the Lab and flight test means for Navigation and NAVAIDS testing activities.
This role will involve some travel for business (once a year in United States) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:
· Educated to Master level (or equivalente) in Engineering or a related discipline,
· NAVIGATION and/or NAVAIDS system knowledge,
· Project management knowledge,
· Engaged / curious / creative mindset,
· Team working spirit,
· Language Skills: advanced level of English and negotiation level of French.
