Key tasks

The Conference & Banqueting / Hotel Sales Coordinator is responsible for converting MICE enquiries and the delivery of a client focused service that results in the achievement of business revenue objectives of this segment.
This will be achieved through the provision of a well-organized and responsive booking service, the delivery of Meeting@Novotel product offer, the development of customer relationships and offering a personalized and tailored event management service.
The Conference & Banqueting / Hotel Sales Coordinator is also responsible for the undertaking of all sales actions that result in the achievement of business revenue objectives of the corporate and FIT segments.
This will be achieved through relationship building with existing local contracts, the active sourcing of new contracting opportunities locally, continuous monitoring of the performance of domestic and national key accounts and liaising with the KAM.
Responsibilities
Sales
• Strategy:
- Full awareness of the sales strategy to reflect the achievement of hotel budget commitment and which responds to local market conditions
- Take a proactive sales approach and in line with strategy, adapt sales solutions to meet client needs and expectations
• E-Enquiry (Database Management):
• Business bookings (Diary Management):
- Make commercial decisions to maximize MICE income on a daily basis
- Actively manage business bookings, record denials
- Ensure necessary follow ups are carried out to identify future business potential
- Each month review the next 6 months availability to highlight high demand/ low demand dates and take steps to minimize the risk of any shortfall
• Ensure you are fully informed and able to promote all the Accor business products: Le Club Meeting Planner, AOB and ABA
• At the weekly OPS meeting, ensure all departments are fully briefed to provide a high service standard promoted throughout Meeting@Novotel
Administration/ Revenue
• Credit – Sales Ledger:
