Description du poste

The role is one of the principle key roles in TOTAL Solar, responsible for developing the sales to B2B consumers in France and Europe.  Developing both national B2B customers, large National & European Key Accounts and public/semi public organisations
The role is required to take the team and achieve profitable growth multiplying the sales x5+ over the next 3 years via direct sales, partnership channels and project pipeline acquisition along with geographical expansion to cover up to 8 countries by the end of 2020.
·  The role is expected to develop and optimise a TOTAL Solar European sales team.
·  The role is expected to put in place a network of sales partners – internal to TOTAL and external to TOTAL to help drive sales growth.
·  The role is also expected to identify inorganic growth opportunities for profitable acquisition of semi developed pipelines of external organisations. Profitable growth exceeding the TOTAL project financial hurdle rates to be achieved via optimisation of the customer prospect selection, sales channels to market and innovative propositions to the end customer.
Dimensions:
·  European B2B solar market is projected to install cumulative 10 GW of solar between 2018-2020.
·  Focusing on selling solar based installations for self consumption on a PPA based model for car ports, roof mounted (all sizes) and ground mounted to 5 MW. Including where economic battery, energy efficiency and Electric charging solutions into one value proposition.
·  Geographical responsibility: France & European Markets Target is 6+ markets to be brought to full active and scale by 2020.
·  Responsibility for the management and coordination of the Total Solar B2B European PV based sales.
·  Current team of 8 staff, projected to grow in line with country expansion & sales development.
·  Successful development of sales partners and apporter d’affaires – within TOTAL Group and external to TOTAL in order to significantly increase the sales reach of the business. These channels should rise to be producing around 50% of all sales by end 2019.

·  Proven track record in running a successful business development and sales team in B2B markets, ideally across Europe.
·  Development of profitable, rapid organic growth.
·  Opening of new markets / countries.
·  Proven ability to motivate and drive a sales team to results in a semi complex sales process.             
·  Ability to set targets and manage teams to target achievement through structured approaches.
·  Proven ability to manage and develop successfully large corporate / Key Account relationships
·  Ability to operate and communicate at all levels of an organisation
·  Ability to directly & help team manage past internal & external politics and “roadblocks” to sales results success.
·  Fluent in French and English
·  Working in a dynamic environment under pressure of targets.
·  Knowledge of financial structure.
·  Strong knowledge and experience of energy markets, ideally electricity and solar / renewables.
·  Strong team management and development skills.
