Description :

The Tender Service Engineer joins the Benelux Services Team and assumes responsibility for proposal activities (Small Service Projects and Asset Care Services), basic process designs, budgetary and final proposals within the Netherlands and Flanders. He/she provides support to the Service Managers within the team.

The objective of this assignment to ensure:

·  Execution of the service related ITO (Inquiry to Order) activities with focus on Small Service Projects (e.g. revamps, small installations, …), Asset Care Services and Short term interventions
·  Ensures that proposals are adequately developed involving additional expertise as needed, in order to allow to produce a competitive offer.
·  Successful and productive collaboration with the Services team in development of opportunities
·  Establishing a strong internal network to enhance successful collaboration with all internal functions all the way from Proposal to Execution.

Responsibilities

·  Support development and closure of deals to maximise revenue generation
·  Understand the challenges of industrial clients with regards to water management
·  Support Services teams to properly structure a deal
·  Optimize profitability through a thorough understanding of the project / job.
·  Support Services teams to structure deals to combine equipment, services and clearly develop & communicate value propositions for each offering
·  Design the best solution for the customer based on client specifications/needs and the SUEZ Services portfolio
·  Apply costing and process design strategies to position the company in the early stages of project development and to increase probability & success.
·  Generate process designs
·  Generate/Coordinate Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings.
·  Costing the solution
·  Proposal issuance
·  Respecting EHS procedures and policies and ensure those are reflected in the proposals.
·  Support the team during customer meetings, for instance through the preparation of presentations, simulations, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or environmental engineering.
·  Minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater engineering or equipment supply field
·  Profound knowledge of Filtration, Ion Exchange, Membrane Separation Technologies and Membrane Process Equipment
·  Fluent in Dutch and English, preferably French as well
