Job Description

Neurobus is excited to offer a unique opportunity for aspiring Computer Vision Engineers with a keen interest in event cameras, neuromorphic hardware and space. The candidate will be working on projects with industry and institutional leaders in the space domain to help advance neuromorphic computing. Key responsibilities are to develop machine learning models for visual-based navigation, object detection, tracking and more, for applications in space and on satellites. You will report directly to the CTO, who is an expert in event-based vision.

This opportunity is available as an internship, apprenticeship, or a permanent position, depending on the candidate's profile.

Preferred Experience

Key Responsibilities

· 
Develop and optimize algorithms for event-based vision processing.

· 
Implement clean machine learning pipelines using modern libraries.

· 
Benchmark models on conventional edge (NVIDIA Jetson) and neuromorphic AI accelerators.

· 
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate vision systems into our satellite payload platforms.

· 
Conduct state-of-the-art research and experiments.

Qualifications

· 
Master’s or PhD degree (can be currently enrolled) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with a focus on computer vision or edge computing.

· 
Solid understanding of computer vision concepts and algorithms.

· 
Good programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages, and familiarity with computer vision libraries.

· 
A strong interest in event camera technology and its applications.

· 
Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· 
At least basic understanding of spiking or recurrent neural networks.

· 
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team.

Preferred Skills

· 
Prior experience or coursework in image processing or computer vision.

· 
Experience with Pytorch Lightning

· 
Experience with a Cloud computing stack (AWS, Lambda Labs or similar)

· 
Experience with neuromorphic hardware
