PhD Engineer in Radiofrequency electronic design

Within the Wireless Connectivity team of Buildings & IT business Unit, this engineer in radiofrequency and electronic design is responsible of bringing his expertise in the new offers and new technologies projects.

Main missions :

· Develop Wireless communication Brick (40%)

ð Lead and design Wireless communication bricks (reference design) development

ð Main steps/activity of brick design process: collect project inputs to define brick specifications, select best solution, define brick schematic/layout, built starter kit based on brick, define verification plan, perform verification test and test report (RF test, EMC, temperature, …), brick datasheet, ensure that deliverables respect Schneider electric constraints (Coda, symphony, cadence, ..)

· Lead technology actions and innovation tasks in Wireless communication domain (40%)

ð Contribute on technology action plan definition for wireless connectivity domain – Technological survey / techno actions proposal

ð Lead several technology actions per year in Wireless domain

ð Ensure deliverables quality

· Support to project integrating wireless communication Brick (20%)

ð Support project on wireless Hardware Brick/component selection, brick integration, participate to project technical review (schematic, layout, ..)

ð Adapt brick design according project constraints, design specific RF functions like antennas, perform verification tests

Master degree in Electronic, you have ideally completed your cursus with a PhD in Radiofrequency or wireless communication, in a industrial (Cifre) and international environment.

You have proven abilities in action coordination and organization, which allows you to manage various topics in parallel. Your collective mindset is appreciated in interfaces with your environment and your leadership abilities are an asset to bring projects to their end, and provide the right level of support and expertise.

You master RF équipements and tools: RF generator, Spectrum analyzer, Vector network analyzer, RF simulation tool (CST Microwave, Genesis, Matlab..); You master RF electronic and antenna design. You can do small firmware development (nice to have)

Wireless technologies considered are Zigbee, Bluetooth Low Energy, Wifi, NFC, RFID, LPWAN (Lora, Sigfox, LTE-M, ..), Thread...

English fluent, French as a plus.
