The Supply Chain Analyst - Logistics/Materials organizes, analyzes and handles a variety of inventory management and inventory control issues.

The Opportunity:

• Drive cost and process improvements in Warehouse Operations to increase customer satisfaction with regard to inventory impact issues

• Provide data analysis for warehouse planning and volume and cost analysis
• Participates in cost reduction and process/rating improvement efforts
• Ensure security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review
• Manage and communicate with appropriate people regarding orders, product availability, shipping information, etc.

• Develop and maintain systems/databases to ensure compliance to RD standards and government department regulations (i.e. Customs, Dept. of Commerce, and FDA)

• Participate actively on any supply chain/logistics projects that drive productivity initiatives and continuous improvements, such as lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and 5S methodology

Who you are:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or 2 years Supply Chain business experience
• Strong computer skills with competence in Word, Excel, Access, and SAP applications
• Strong communication (oral and written), collaborative problem solving, and analytical skills
• Strong organization and planning skills including project management
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment

• Solid knowledge of Supply Chain Materials Management, Inventory and/or Logistics preferred

• SQL knowledge/experience preferred

• Tableau and data visualization experience preferred
