pRED Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS) is a single Global Function, comprised of seven research units, spanning six sites across three continents, covering the areas of Investigative Safety; Project Leaders and Modeling & Simulation; Clinical Pharmacology and Bioanalytical R&D; Strategic Outsourcing, Operations and Externalization; Comparative Toxicology and Pharmacology; BiOmics and Pathology. In BiOmics (Biomarkers, Bioinformatics and Omics) and Pathology, we provide expert solutions to pRED projects by generating and integrating molecular, cellular, tissue and functional data.

As part of the Biomics department, the Immunosafety laboratory has the mission to assess the risk of new drug candidates to interfere with the immune system, including risks related to immunogenicity, hypersensitivity and immune function alteration.

Who you are:

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist who will work in close collaboration with scientists from different departments within PS to address the immunogenicity and immunosafety of AAV gene therapy vectors.

Your skillset should include:

·  Strong knowledge of immunology
·  Experience in the field of gene therapy, ideally with AAV vectors
·  Practical experience in primary cell culture and in vitro assays with immune system cells
·  Knowledge of flow cytometry is a must. Experience in ELISpot assays is a plus.
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
·  Proficient in spoken and written English
