Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Protein Mass Spectrometry Data Analytics, Moore Lab, Genentech Process Technical DevelopmentA Postdoctoral Fellow position (2 year appointment) is available in the Protein Analytical Chemistry Department (within US Biologics Pharma Technical Development, PTDU). This position is a tremendous opportunity to collaborate with leading-edge researchers in academe and industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing data analysis algorithms and chemo-informatic databases for analytical methods used to characterize recombinant protein therapeutics including: high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry (MS) and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). The individual will maintain excellent documentation of all work including laboratory notebooks, test methods, or any other appropriate documents. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for presenting results and experimental information to departmental colleagues, writing and reviewing internal reports.
