VACANCY: POLICY ADVOCATE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conducting research, analyzing current healthcare policies, evaluating the effects of proposed legislation, and reporting on findings.

2. Build strong relationship of Roche with government officials in healthcare sector to add value in policy decisions in order to benefit community.

3. Influence political and social events to increase voice around healthcare issues in related Therapeutic areas.

4. Work in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders i.e. Government, NGOs/Embassies/Medical societies etc bring required therapeutic area in in Government's priority agenda.

5. Bring desired change in healthcare system & policies through legislation in stipulated period.

6. Maintain in-house cross-functional collaboration and partnership for various policy plan and other activities as required.

7. Ensuring Company's compliance in related fields.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Health Economics, Political Sciences or Public Policy or relevant business/ life sciences related field.

2. Working experience of 3-5 years in government affairs, policy, public or corporate affairs (preferably with some years of experience in the life sciences / pharmaceutical industry).Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office package.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Ability to work within a team environment.

WORK LOCATION: Dhaka. Travelling outside of Dhaka will be required.
