The role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Associate to join our marketing team, reporting to the Senior Market Manager. You will join a fast-paced, dynamic and successful team to coordinate the delivery of tactical campaigns across the portfolio and contribute to the delivery of the strategic marketing plan. Supported by our Marketing Executives, you will work closely with Product and Market Managers on activities including, but not limited to:

Creation and management of marketing collateral

· 
Programing and delivery of campaigns

· 
Planning and implementation of promotional/digital events

· 
Research of market trends as part of the business planning process

· 
Management of creative agencies

· 
Training program delivery and support

· 
Process improvement

· 
Mentoring and onboarding of marketing interns

You will also coordinate internal communications and support external communications that increase the visibility of the value of in vitro diagnostics across the UK and Ireland.

As part of this team, you will become a digital marketing champion, leading the utilisation of Salesforce for Marketing through Marketo, ensuring that digital assets on Showpad are appropriate, deliver analytical reports on the usage of Marketing collateral and suggest implementation of new practices to the marketing team. In this role, you will stay closely connected with our global marketing colleagues and help disseminate the adoption of new tools/concepts into the UK marketing organisation.

Who are you?

You have a science/business/marketing degree or equivalent, and whilst a formal marketing (e.g. CIM) qualification is not essential it would be an advantage, as would knowledge of a healthcare marketing environment or previous experience at Roche. You will have worked in your first commercial role and have at least 1 year of work experience in a business environment.

You are dynamic, hardworking and self-reliant with a flexible attitude to challenging situations. With a high level of organisation skills, you have the ability to work independently and are able to prioritise tasks in order to maximise productivity. Your strong communication skills enable you to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will be digitally focused with a strong desire to acquire excellent customer insight. To be successful in this position you must be able to demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation);

Excellent organisational skills Copywriting skills; English as mother tongue standard

· 
Competence in Microsoft Office products.

Must have excellent attention to detail, including good proofing skills

· 
High sense of personal responsibility with a strong work ethic with a desire for professional development
