Global Supply Chain Capabilities (PTSA) enables integrated and sustainable Supply Chain solutions and contributes to reliably deliver the pipeline and ensure uninterrupted supply of quality products.

This purpose is accomplished by driving development and alignment of strategic plans and supply chain capabilities and by partnering with Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT) wide communities, on behalf of Product & Supply Chain Management (PTS), in defining and continuously improving integrated solutions to business challenges through end-to-end processes, data, systems & analytics and project management.

As Global Head Supply Chain Business Process Excellence & Learning, you will report directly to the Global Head of Supply Chain Capabilities and be a member of the Supply Chain Capabilities Leadership Team (PTSA LT).

The primary purpose of this role is to drive business results through process excellence, ensure successful execution of related governance bodies and adherence to our processes and critical metrics, while fostering the integration of the Lean principles. In addition, this role promotes alignment and cross-functional collaboration with the other PT functions on Business Process Management and Lean Operational Excellence strategy and activities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

·  Lead the PT Demand-to-Supply (D2S) extended Business Process Owners (BPO) and Operational Excellence team (8 direct reports and 2 matrix / 1 employee based in San Francisco)
·  Act as end-to-end L1 D2S BPO
·  Ensure PT E2E D2S Process excellence, alignment and consistency in order to drive improved business results
·  Foster and sponsor continuous improvement initiatives, engaging all PT functions involved
·  Chair the PT D2S Business Process Council (PT representation), lead the review and discussion of proposed Process/System improvements and oversee execution of agreed changes.
·  Develop and mature a regular engagement with numerous Group, Pharma and PT key partners, fostering cross-functional alignment on improvement opportunities

You will have a key role in the PT Business Process Management (BPM) community and - in collaboration with PT Lean - ensure a full integration of Lean principle and methods. You will provide advice and guidance in multiple PT projects, Steering Committees, Advisory boards and Governance bodies.. You will be the Lead for Lean Production System (LPS) in PTS and represent PTS in PT LPS Council and contribute to LPS continuous improvement. You will be a key counterpart for the PT Nexus Lead, in redefining full Process, Data, System, KPIs design and execution. You are sponsoring the definition and deployment of an internal Supply Chain Academy, in order to ensure adequate learning & training support for the development of Roche Pharma Supply Chain professionals. You will play a key part in redesigning PTS & PTSA Operating model, based on the new Supply Chain strategy

We are looking for the following qualifications and experience:

·  Bachelor/Master Degree (Life Sciences, Engineering and/or business disciplines preferred)
·  12 or more years related professional experience, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical industry across various disciplines
·  Minimum 5 years of people management experience including leading cross-functional teams
·  At least 3 years business process design and management experience and a strong affinity to operational excellence (Class A, Lean, 6 Sigma)
·  Strong technical background of end-to-end supply chain operations, processes, enabling systems and data

You are fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in English and able to travel up to 20%.
