We challenge you to join Roche Diagnostics as an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst. Combine your expert Tableau skills in combination with strong business analysis and reporting expertise. The work location of this position will be Indianapolis, IN.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will design, build, deploy and present business intelligence dashboards using Tableau, Alteryx, and other tools which drive key business decisions and provide insight into both historical performance and modeled future potential. This position demands both business analysis and reporting expertise. The Analyst will also be working directly with various business groups to understand their business requirements to create appropriate reports and data analysis as needed. This role will have the ability to work with large and complex volume data sets and must have a clear understanding of the full database systems. The candidate must be self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to fill multiple roles within the Bl environment.

The Opportunity:

·  Develop reporting solutions, visualizations and dashboards to support multiple business units using modern Bl development tools including Tableau and Alteryx.
·  Clearly convey the key insights or 'story' the data reveals in a visual format that is easily understood and actionable.
·  Assist in developing standards and best practices for report design, guidelines and data integrity.
·  Gather and understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.
·  Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis that involve large scale and complex functions as requested.
·  Write SQL queries to satisfy various business needs.
·  Provide on-going analytical and technical support for production reports and dashboards, maintenance and support of existing data sources and data integrations.
·  Perform data validation and other strategies that optimize efficiency, data quality and accuracy.
·  Build expertise in the business unit(s) supported, and assist in business process redesign

Who you are:

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field OR at least 5 years related experience
·  2 years business/systems analysis/analytical experience. Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience
·  Ability to manage implementation of application solutions to address business needs
·  Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, relational database, SQL and PC skills
·  Demonstrated sound judgment and decision making
·  Comprehensive experience analyzing and solving business situations
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
