Responsibilities
As part of the State and Local Government, Higher Education, Healthcare and Life Sciences Strategic Accounts team, you will be selling IBM's Watson Customer Engagement SaaS solutions into IBM's mid-size and white space accounts. You will execute on your account plan and deliver maximum revenue for the solutions you sell. You will work as part of a highly integrated team to manage the complete and complex sales cycle from beginning to end, including extensive prospecting, meeting with clients, preparing demonstrations, presenting to C-level executives and progressing opportunities to closure. You will understand the solutions you sell and grow in your ability to articulate their value. You will report on all sales activity and revenue achievement and work hard to satisfy all of your customers.
Job Description
You are a high-energy, self-driven salesperson with a deep understanding of your customer's struggles and how SaaS technology can address them. Your track record of SaaS business-to-business sales quota achievement and account management experience sets you apart from your peers. You innovate, challenge early and take calculated risks to win. You understand IBM's Watson Marketing or Watson Supply Chain solutions and why customers need them.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· 3+ years of quota carrying SaaS software sales and account management experience.
· Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to C Level
· Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.
· Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management
