Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The following technical skills are important:
· Experience of planning, designing and carrying out research activities with users -Proficient in a variety of user research methods including in-lab and remote usability studies, ethnographic observation, field studies, interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry and focus groups
· Able to communicate insights to developers, designers and other stakeholders
· Experience of working with Designers, Product Owners, Developers, and other Researchers to prioritise research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
· Experience of facilitating evidence-based product and design decisions

Introduction
The User Researcher will be part of the Scrum Team responsible for all user research activities working closely with the client-side user researcher to build on previous evidence collected and build up user research during the Discovery phase for the new benefits system. Activities include: identifying the user groups, driving the user research plan, facilitating workshops and feeding insights into the wider team and product backlog to build a user-centric product backlog.

Since opening our first UK office in Leicester in Spring 2015, we've significantly grown. We currently have five UK centres, with offices in Leicester, Hursley, Thames Valley (Swindon), and the North (Preston & Newcastle), along with a group specialising in Microsoft applications.
