The User Interface Architect position plays a leading role within our Agile development teams. This role is responsible for leading the UI design and development efforts across multiple development teams within the Watson Campaign Automation suite. The architect will establish a long term architectural roadmap for the applications as well as establish best practices including :
• Researching new technologies and frameworks
• Establish secure coding conventions
• Define the foundational design patterns
The ideal candidate will have experience working with the full stack and is comfortable working with every layer of the architecture including the database, Java, service, and front end. Experience building applications on a micro service architecture is highly desireable.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Java (3+ years)
• Object Oriented Design (3+ years)
• JavaScript (3+ years)
• HTML/CSS (3+ years)
• Angular JS or other JavaScript based frameworks (3+ years)
• Experience developing secure applications as well as knowledge of OWASP
• Proven knowledge cross-browser compatibility and web standards
• Knowledge of usability and user experience design
• Experience leveraging well known UI design patterns
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
