Job description
The User Interface Architect position plays a leading role within our Agile development teams. This role is responsible for leading the UI design and development efforts across multiple development teams within the Watson Campaign Automation suite. The architect will establish a long term architectural roadmap for the applications as well as establish best practices in UI development which all teams will adopt. They will coordinate UI development efforts across teams as well as with the User Experience (UX) teams. They will be responsible for identifying and standardizing new frameworks, assisting with establishing product roadmaps, as well as working closely with a development team leveraging Agile processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Object Oriented Design (7+ years)
· JavaScript (7+ years)
· HTML/CSS (7+ years)
· Angular JS or other JavaScript based frameworks (3+ years)
· Java (3+ years)
· Experience developing secure applications as well as knowledge of OWASP
· Proven knowledge cross-browser compatibility and web standards
· Knowledge of usability and user experience design
· Experience leveraging well known UI design patterns
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
