Job description
Staff Software Developer, IBM Corporation, Durham, NC: Develop user interface software for Cloud Applications. Define and validate designs based on customer requirements. Build and deploy developed features into development environment. Work on automation, scaling and management of deployments. Ensure designs are accessible, responsive and support internationalization. Write support test cases. Work to resolve customer issues. Deliver optimized and error free code. Work in a fast paced Agile environment to deliver high-quality features. Conduct peer and code review. Responsible for leading and mentoring team members. Research and recommend technologies and methodologies to enhance user experience. Provide estimates to help plan release content. Translate visual and written designs into efficient reusable front-end components. Utilize AngularJS, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG), Internalization(i18n), Jasmine, and Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets (SASS). Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related and one (1) year of experience as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing AngularJS, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG), Internalization(i18n), Jasmine, and Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets (SASS).
