Job description

The IBM Hybrid Cloud development team in Cork, requires a talented Intern to join our DevOps engineering team at IBM Cork, as part of the development team focused on the IBM API Connect product.
IBM API Connect is a comprehensive end-to-end API lifecycle solution that enables the automated creation of APIs, simple discovery of systems of records, self-service access for internal and third party developers and built-in security and governance. Using automated, model-driven tools, create new APIs and microservices based on Node.js and Java runtimes—all managed from a single unified console.

The team operates in a true agile, continuous delivery model, with small co-located development squads responsible for setting their own direction in collaboration with offering and up-line management, and providing final line support to our clients and a keen focus on quality and client satisfaction

The Cloud industry promotes the fast adoption of new and innovative open source tools and technologies, driven by the ever growing demands of the industry. Our team is organised to set up and support the rapid adoption of these technologies when requested by our enterprise customers. We are required to learn and adapt to such technologies quickly, so that we can deliver for our customers in a timely manner.
