Job description

IBM's Global Financing's Sales Enablement Web Development team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology student intern to work on test automation as part of our DevOps strategy. Responsibilities may include creating and modifying test automation scripts and inserting into our automated build process. Some web page development in JavaScript and HTML may also be included. The application is a global application used by IBM Global Financing sellers to help drive IBM revenue. The intern will be applying Agile practices as a member of the web development squad. The intern will work part-time during the school year and full-time during winter/spring/summer breaks.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Minimum of 1-year experience in programming and software development using Java
·  Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming constructs and design principles
·  Ability to collaborate with others
·  Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a similar degree program
·  Ability to work in the United States without the need for current or future IBM sponsorship
