As a Senior Cloud Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. As a Team Leader, you are expected to manage a team of consultants, engineers and/or developers, manage skill development, and manage the delivery of projects to IBM customers

As a Senior Cloud Architect and Team Leader at IBM Services, you are providing consultative, architectural, program and engineering support for our customers' journeys to the cloud. As part of this journey you are delivering innovative solutions that are tailored to the specifics needs of our customers. Building on your extensive experience with Cloud Service Providers you are building next-generation cloud native applications, sophisticated system integrations or ambitious cloud migration projects and manage a team a team of brilliant builders.
In this client facing role you need to be able to translate between business and tech. By building pragmatic IT solutions for real world problems you create value for our customers every single day. Being able to deliver across different technology stacks with deep hands-on-skills you support your team and our customers by coaching, teaching and giving advice. You strongly value diversity and different opinions. You know how to motivate. You do what is right, not what is easy.
As a positive, forward-looking person you have good written and verbal communication skills (English & Portuguese minimum on C1 level, Spanish desired). You can describe requirements through simple, clear-cut user stories and technical specifications. Even in difficult circumstances you are level-headed, and you manage to infect others with your positive attitude. You are always looking to learn something new and know about the latest technical trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, IBM, Google or Oracle Cloud technologies
• 5+ years of experience in delivering complex and large-scale IT projects
• 1+ year of experience in architecting in enterprises using agile methodologies
• Architecture-Design: Cloud-native, Hybrid
• Container: Kubernettes, Openshift, AKS, ROCS and/or ACI
• Serverless
• Storage and (No-) SQL Databases
• Monitor: Log Analytics, App Insights, Alerts, ...
• Network: Cloud Native, Hybrid, VPN, global and local Load Balancing / Traffic Manager
• DevOps
