Research Staff Member - Numerical Modeling for Quantum Computing

Job description
IBM Research is seeking Research Staff Members to join our quantum computing team at the T. J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY.
We are looking for researchers with a record of research in quantum computing theory, open quantum systems, numerical modeling, quantum control, and superconducting device physics. Candidates are expected to work closely with experimentalists to model device physics and improve quantum gates and measurements in multi-qubit systems. Fruitful collaboration with other members of the quantum computing team is expected.
A Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related area is required.
