Research Scientist in AI (IBM Research Singapore Lab)

Job description

We are seeking an outstanding candidate to perform original research advancing the state of the art in Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will participate in projects, publish in top-tier AI conferences and contribute to development of the next generation of AI systems. The candidate will work with a team of researchers and software engineers on current AI challenges in areas such as: causal inference, explainable and interpretable models, robust and scalable reinforcement learning.

We are interested in candidates with proven experience in deep learning, planning, or knowledge representation. We are especially interested in candidates with extensive experience in designing innovative solutions in real-world systems.

Requirements:
• Doctorate Degree in Computer Science.
• Publications in top tier conferences such as NIPS, AAAI, IJCAI, ICML, ICLR, AISTATS, AAMAS, KDD, ICDM.
• Extensive programming experience, particularly in Python, C, C++ or Java.
• Familiarity with Deep-Learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras).
