Job description
The IBM Research Systems Power, Packaging, and Cooling team is looking for an Intern to help design two chips at the heart of IBM's Power Block DC-DC converter.
This dense, highly efficient power converter will be key to achieving outstanding efficiency and high density packaging of processors and accelerators in IBM's Cloud data centers. You should have experience in: designing switching power regulators, performing analog circuit design, schematic design, electrical circuit modeling and simulation, model extraction from layout, guard banding, circuit layout and verification.
Candidates pursuing a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering are preferred. This position is located in Yorktown Heights, NY.
