Job description

As QA & Release Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of data and information (both structured and unstructured) from business requirements to logical and physical design in an IT solution.

You are curious to learn as demonstrated by your up-to-date technical knowledge. You are a good team player, and you are familiar with Agile methodologies and principles and/or have experience working in an Agile team. CIO AccessHub project in IBM is one of the key initiatives, it brings "who has what" data into a single location. AccessHub is a milestone in online access, security, and control for IBMers. The AccessHub initiative, sponsored and directed by the office of the CIO, is being undertaken to help standardize the access management experience for all types of users across the global IBM enterprise. In context of We manage sev 1 incidents using several tools and integrations, monitoring, maintaining status pages, FAQs, and other documentation useful for clients. In summary, we do our best to provide fast resolution and excellent support to our customers.
We collaborate globally and encourage innovation and automated solutions like Chatbot that automatically responds to user questions acting as level 1 support or ServiceNow ticketing tool solution to internally and externally simplify and unify the support process while obtaining relevant measurements for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

·  Create and execute comprehensive test plans to uncover usability as well as performance issues.
·  Document and Priorities issues, including steps for reproduction and likely causes.
·  Identify key edge cases that have can cause problems at the feature planning stage itself.
·  Communicate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
·  Check on servers, connectors, if the tasks are not being stuck, checking on the alerts, notifications, if there is no Sev1, and if there is Sev1, working with vendor on fixing it, looking for RCA
·  Test Data - Logging, Analysis and Prioritization of Defects, Project Tracking Sheet, maintenance, Co- coordinating Build and Release process, Configuration Mgmt compliance Timesheets - QC Process and Templates compliance, Defect Tool maintenance, Test execution as per Test Plan Desired Skills / Background

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Minimum 2 years of experience in IT industry as QA & Release specialist
·  Detailed oriented, focus on high quality of work to avoid future problems
·  Collaborative approach and ability to share with global team members lessons learned and blockers
·  Ability to learn fast the application logic and system functionalities and to drive and deliver e2e task
·  Project management experience
