A highly motivated Principal Data Scientist to lead a product development team focused on delivering high-value, high-impact data analytics to meet the evolving needs in the area of Financial Crimes and Regulatory Compliance.
The candidate would provide technical leadership to a team of data scientists and data engineers to design, architect and build the analytic solution. They would work closely with
cross functional teams to both evolve existing analytics and drive innovation on fundamentally new approaches in this area. They will be responsible to develop a highly skilled analytics discipline within the development organization.
This leader will excel as a rigorously practiced expert in applied analytics, as a team leader, and someone who can work closely with the business community to understand and deliver business value.
Success factors Include:
· Developing Machine Learning (ML) models
· Runtime analytics to find Financial fraud including anti money laundering
· Leveraging knowledge gained from text analytics (classification and understanding)
· Developing tooling for data cleansing and data preparation
· Recommendations to analytic model management, governance, auditing, and challenger approaches
· Deploy machine learning models as services at scale
· Apply industry leading best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
· 5-7 years experience as a Data Scientist including data analytics, data visualization, machine learning with relevant work experience
· Successful experience designing and developing an enterprise wide data analytics framework that span variant data sources and analytic tools and methodologies
· Well versed with logistic and multivariate regression, clustering algorithms, decision trees, predictive modeling, natural language processing, network scoring and graph analytics
· Deep interest in machine learning, network analytics and cognitive processing
