Java Software Developer

Job description

The developer is responsible for filling in the role of the Developer in the squad, taking responsibility in testing, and ensuring the Product Owner's software requirements are met through the weekly/bi-weekly deployments.

Key responsibilities:

As a Developer :
·  Java development/debugging and multithreading programming
·  Continuous Integration and Deployment with Docker, Jenkins and Selenium in virtualized environment
·  Taking part in squad meetings: Prio, Stand up, Showcase, Retro
·  Providing input for estimation of effort in GitHub
·  Active participation in the knowledge sharing with teammates.
As a Tester:
·  Designing, developing and executing test procedures in an integrated testing environment (manual and automation testing)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Fluent English
·  Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related technical field
·  Experience in Java development/debugging and multithreading programming, and JavaScript
·  Experience in manual testing and automation testing using automated testing software
·  Experience in automation testing tools like Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber framework.
·  Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
·  Agile software development experience
·  Knowledge of Apache Maven
