IBM Internship: Cognitive Problem Detection Intern

Job description

IBM designs the world's best servers and its supercomputers are second to none. This success did not happen by chance; at IBM, we have dedicated system verification teams around the world that ensure their success.

STELA (Systems Test Event Logging and Analysis) is one such team. It is a framework for server system log collection and data mining using web component to ease tracking of failures across systems. These log data may be structured, semi-structured, or completely unstructured.
The candidate would be expected to extract meaning from this avalanche of data. He/she would be expected to sift through all incoming bits and bytes of data with the intent of finding patterns, spotting trends, or discovering a previously hidden insight that will provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing business problem.

If the candidate is be able to add data visualization in the form of charts and dashboards on a website and customize the user interface, it will be a plus.

Job Requirements:

* Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Neural Networks
* Python libraries such as scikit-learn, tensorflow
* Automation tools such as Jenkins and Robot
* Collaboration tools such as Git and Slack
* Experience with Perl, PHP, MySQL on Linux
* Exposure to front-end development using Angular, React, Node would be helpful
* Knowledge of computer architecture would be an advantage
