DevOps Network System Engineer Threat Intelligence
Atlanta (DeKalb) Bachelor's Degree Infra / Networks / Telecom
Job description
IBM X-Force Incident Response & Intelligence Services (IRIS) is looking for a DevOps network system engineer to architect intelligence operations at scale by orchestrating the arrangement and management of computer systems, middleware, and services in support of a large-scale threat intelligence automation platform and malware analysis lab. The role requires the ability to set up and manage virtual private cloud instances, VPN access, firewall and proxy connections to internal systems and internet connected resources. Building the malware analysis lab would entail supporting configuration management of standard builds for host machines and tools along with rapid provisioning of virtual machines for specific analysis and setting up and maintaining a shared collaborative environment. This engineer will be required to support a mix of long-term, iterative projects as well as short-notice tasking.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability in communicating complex material in a succinct fashion serving a wide range of user base. The key task will be helping IRIS to develop a cohesive delivery platform for real-time, actionable data. Up to 10% travel is required for training, conferences, or client engagements.
