Become a part of the IBM Hybrid Cloud Design team – a well-established user interface design team designing integrated hybrid cloud services for IBM's premier cloud platform, Bluemix, as well as other Fortune 500, on-premise, and enterprise software offerings.
We are looking for a Design Front-end Developer Intern in Austin, TX to join our team this summer to help deliver irresistible solutions which address our customers' most challenging business problems and opportunities.
As a Design Front-end Developer Intern , you will be working with UX Designers, User Researchers, and Visual Designers to help create beautiful and seamless web applications for IBM's premier cloud platform, Bluemix, and our portfolio of state-of-the-art products. Our products enable integration flows targeting businesses that are integrating their data flows, processes, and service management organizations. You will be using the latest front-end tools and technologies to create and deliver innovative web applications with a focus on amazing user experiences.
Responsibilities
· Contribute to innovation across the development process.
· Have a passion for web standards and best practices
· Build highly usable, fast, mobile-first user interfaces for mobile, tablet and desktop
· Recommend and be a part of the conversation when adding interactivity to enhance the user experience (animations, hover effects, transitions, etc.)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 1 year of web development experience
· Experience with front-end frameworks like Handlebars, React, Angular, Riot, etc
· Comfortable with Git and Github
· Coursework related to Design/Information Technology
· Online portfolio
