Business Analyst - Business Intelligence

Job description

IBM is looking for a BI Business Analyst with Banking expertise (Retail Finance, Commercial Finance, Multi Make Finance, Banking and Insurance) from both functional and IT solutions perspective.

The client is an international banking services and consumer loan product provider operating in more than 10 countries across the globe.

Work Location:
- Remote (from Romania) + limited travel for knowledge transfer to Czech Republic (up to 2-3 weeks)

Responsibilities:
·  Communication with customer representatives (business users/analysts) about their requirements.
·  Consultations about current functionality of data warehouse for customer.
·  Internal tests of newly developed areas.
·  Cooperation in setting the data warehouse analysis methodolog
·  Support of assigned country analysts.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  BI/DWH knowledge on Oracle platform.
·  Knowledge of DWH modeling and ETL processes (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, workflow).
·  Fluent English (spoken and written).
·  Min. 2 years experience at equivalent position, in analysis for financial/banking sector.
·  Financial products knowledge.
·  Analytical skill, creative problem solving.
·  Very good communication skills.
·  Ability to spend one or two weeks on business trip.

·  Basic knowledge of MS SQL, MS Analysis Services.
