Blockchain Software Engineer
The IBM Secure Blockchain Service is an evolving technology enabling highly secured blockchain networks to be deployed on IBM z Systems. The major focus is on ease of use and superior security. This opens new business models for IBM z Systems Software, in the rapid growing market of blockchain based transaction handling. To grow our product development team we are looking for experienced Linux developers with skills in embedded software development, Python and GIT/Gerrit. You will be working in a global and agile team focusing on the development of the IBM Secure Blockchain Service in close interaction with our customers, the IBM z Systems offering management and the IBM Bluemix Team.
Candidate will be team member of an agile development process for zBlockchain. Will be responsible for the design and implementation of DevOps applications for build, deployment, test, and release. Must be able to communicate and work closely with developers, testers, and Site Reliability Engineers to assess and implement requirements. Must be able to adjust to constant business changes, such as new requirements, evolving goals or strategies, as well as off shift coverage if required. Must have ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Git, Gerrit). Must have ability to code and script, some experience or exposure with z/Systems architecture, understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders if necessary.
