Advisory Software Engineer

Job description

Advisory Software Engineer, IBM Corporation, San Jose, CA: Design, develop, and architect Information Management System (IMS) features. Serve and support IMS. Fix code. Assist with customer problems. Design, develop, and enhance quality assurance framework. Automate manual tasks. Lead team scrum meetings. Design, code, and fix functional tests. Mentor new hires. Utilize Assembler, Automated Task Interpreter (ATI), Job Control Language (JCL), Java, JUnit, REST API, Swagger, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), GitHub, Configuration Management Version Control (CMVC), and Rational Team Concert (RTC). Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Assembler, ATI, JCL, Java, JUnit, REST API, Swagger, JSON, GitHub, CMVC, and RTC. Full time. B131.
