We are seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Chicago. The Account Executive is responsible for developing all advertising, data and technology opportunities in the assigned vertical territory.
The AE is the 'tip of the spear' for all client strategy and engagement; while working as a team player within Watson Advertising to exceed annual goals. You will also be responsible for new business and for maintaining and growing existing clients. The Account Executive is also expected to partner, as lead or support, with other teams across IBM to maximize overall value and impact.
· Develop client solutions and proposals
· Manage customer / client relationships through full sales cycle Revenue
· Work with all available sources to identify potential customers
· Manage and develop solutions that optimize customer satisfaction
· Develop and maintain relations with the largest clients and prospects
· Manage expenses responsibly
· Lead trafficking efforts to superior customer service

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Excitement & curiosity of AI and cognitive solutions is a must-have and you should welcome continued learning and discovery
· At least 5 years' Outside Media / Data / Technology Sales experience
· 3 years' experience Digital Ad / Data / Technology Sales
· Possess a lengthy list of appropriate contacts at all agency and client levels
· Full sales cycle experience (from prospecting through account maintenance)
· Consultative Sales experience
· Proposal writing experience
