IBM's IT infrastructure solutions division (IBM Systems) is spread across Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting internship opportunity within our Systems Team.
The Systems Technical intern will be responsible for supporting the Systems team in a variety of tasks including:
· Proof of Technology development using python, AI frameworks, and other programming languages
· Infrastructure Systems administration
· Deep learning and machine learning
· Working with data and analytics tools.
· Exposure working with accelerated computing platforms and GPUs.
· Exposure with advanced server and storage-based technologies including virtualisation, software defined, and container technology The ideal candidate will have:
· An IT or Computer Science degree
· Programming experience - especially Python
· Willingness to learning and explore broader infrastructure based technologies
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently (self-directed) and as part of a team
· High level problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders Duration: 12 months

· Have Australian citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
· Have New Zealand citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency
· Have at least a credit average from respective universities
· You will be enrolled in a tertiary degree at University in Australia/ New Zealand – Throughout the internship program
· Have no more than 2 years relevant work experience
