Technical Skills

Java Technologies: Java 1.5 Onwards, Restful web services, JDBC and Exception Handling, JTA, Servlet & Portlet (JSR 168/286), SOAP web services

Frameworks: Spring 3.0, Hibernate 3.0, Junit, Log4J etc.

Database: Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Mongo

Middleware Technologies: Mule, IIB, Camel etc.

Build and Deployment: Jenkins, Maven etc.

Application Server: WAS, JBoss, Tomcat, JETTY

Software Development Methodology: Agile Methodology.

Scripting Languages: HTML, JavaScript, Node, React

Tools: Eclipse, Any point Studio, RAD, Jira, Confluence

SCM: RTC (Rational Team Concert), GIT Hub

Major Challenges (The challenges inherent in the job that require a continual test of the job holder's abilities)

1. Keep the knowledge updated with the evolving technology and the organizational strategies.

2. Gaining good knowledge quickly on various distributed systems globally while working on various projects.

3. Work with stakeholders globally during dffierent timezones depending on the project needs.

Experience & Qualification:

4. Experience in FSA technologies, particularly, Java web based technologies like Mule Soft,openAM, Cloud and SOA architecture, databases like Mongo, react and node JS. Experience in implementing integration patterns. Basic understanding of mainframe technologies is an added advantage.

5. Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Understanding program strategy and ability to provide solutions to deliver that strategy.

2. Excellent communication skills with ability to explain solutions and technical concepts to stake holders.

3. Self-organized and self-starter to appropriately prioritize and plan his complex work in a rapidly changing environment.

4. Results oriented with strong conceptual and analytical skill and problem solving aptitude.

5. Team player with experience collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

6. Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc.
