Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)

Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

- Lead a portfolio of digital analysis projects, leading definition and facilitating delivery of best in class digital channel propositions for Public Website, Internet Banking, Share dealing and Mobile (including future channels/devices), from initial scoping and global impact assessments, to post implementation support and measurements.

- Undertake detailed analysis to translate concepts and/or high-level business requirements in to digital propositions as part of User Centred Design in conjunction with COE Design Team. And support markets with all activities to on-board onto strategic platforms and adopt new features.

- Responsible for building business case, documenting business requirements, and pipeline management and support.

- Knowledge and understanding of security layer (mobile and desktop), secure access architecture/design, and back-end messaging layer.

- Operate as required across both the digital platform and deployment environment supporting convergence and reuse across ASP.

- Provide leadership/direction on the testing team as part of the release process to improve delivery certainty and provide confirmation that the targeted user experience is met and delivered.

Qualifications :

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Very strong analytical ability and problem solving skills - excellent attention to detail and the ability to see things through to completion. The ability to quickly understand customer and operational considerations, e.g. risk.

• High levels of resilience and self motivation – able to self manage and deliver to committed timescale.

• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues.

• Awareness of User Centred Design methodology

• Adaptive – the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals.

• Experience of process improvement and LEAN thinking methodologies

• The ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, e.g commercials, risk, customer experience; determine the implications and make recommendations as needed. Comfortable in identifying the data needed to justify decisions and presenting this accordingly

• Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.

• A strong team player – highly collaborative recognizing their specialized role in a larger programme of work and acknowledging other areas/individuals roles and responsibilities.
